Oppo announced its flagship smartphone, the Oppo R15 in China recently. The smartphone comes with a 6.28 inches Full HD+ OLED display with 19:9 aspect ratio and 90 percent screen to body ratio. The device has been priced starting at CNY 2,999.
The Oppo R15 is powered by the latest MediaTek Helio P60 SoC and the Dream Mirror Edition of the R15 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC. Both the variants of the device come with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
Oppo R15 Specifications
The smartphone comes with a notch display which Oppo is calling a Super-V display. It comes with an octa-core MediaTek processor with Mali G72 MP3 GPU and 6GB of RAM. The internal storage is 128GB which is further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo with the ColorOS 5.0 layered on the top.
The device comes with a 16MP+5MP dual rear camera setup with f/1.7 aperture size, EIS and LED flash. The front-facing camera is a 20MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture size. It comes with a fingerprint sensor placed at the back with a 3,450mAh battery featuring Oppo’s VOOC Flash charging.
Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition Specifications
The Oppo R15 and R15 Dream Mirror editions are pretty much similar in specifications and design. The only difference is that the Oppo R15 Dream Mirror edition comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 CPU with Adreno 512 GPU and it comes with 3,400mAh battery.
Oppo R15 Pricing and Availability
The Oppo R15 comes in three colors – Snow White, Hot Red and Star Purple, the prices starts at 2,999 Yuan (Rs. 30,800 approx.), and the Dream Mirror edition in Red costs 3,299 Yuan (Rs. 33,900 approx.) The smartphone is available to order and will go on sale from April 1st in China.
