Nubia V18 launched: 6.01-inch display, face unlock, 4000mAh battery

ZTE’s brand Nubia has announced a new smartphone in the mid-range segment under the brand’s V-Series, dubbed as the Nubia V18. The smartphone comes with a 6.01 inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio and thin bezels around the panel. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor paired with 4GB RAM.

The smartphone comes with a 13MP camera at the rear and 8MP camera at the front. The Nubia V18 comes in Black, Red and Gold colors and the price for the smartphone in China is 1299 Yuan which is Rs. 13,400 roughly. The smartphone will go on sale in China from March 29th.

The Nubia V18 smartphone comes with a 6.01 inch display with Full HD+ resolution and 2.5D curved glass display. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor clocked at 2GHz paired with Adreno 506 GPU.

The smartphone comes with 4GB LPDDR3 RAM which is paired with 64GB internal storage with memory expansion up to 128GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with Nubia UI 5.1 skinned on top. The Nubia V18 comes with dual SIM card support and it comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, and GLONASS as standard connectivity options.


For photography, the smartphone comes with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture size. The front-facing camera is an 8MP shooter which has a f/2.0 aperture size. The smartphone sports a fingerprint sensor and 4,000mAh battery. It is still not known whether the smartphone is coming to the Indian market or not.

Pricing and Availability

The Nubia V18 comes in Black, Red and Gold colour options. The device is priced at CNY 1,299 and will go on sale on March 29 in China.
