Google Search now offers JEE Main exam results, GATE, SSC CGL, CAT test dates

Now you will be able to check JEE Main results within the Google Search. Google has collaborated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to make the JEE Main exam results available on the Google Search results page when they are announced. Moreover, you will also be able to find other exams such GATE, CAT, CGL related information as well.

Starting today with the JEE Main exam results, we are launching a feature on Google Search to help students quickly, securely, and seamlessly locate their exam score on their smartphone or desktop. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has worked directly with Google to make the JEE Main exam results available on the Google Search results page as soon as they are announced.” writes Google on its official blog.

JEE Main Results

You can simply search “JEE Main results” when they are announced. Now, enter your roll number and date of birth, and your result will be displayed on the same page. So, the students will be able to directly look up their scores within the Google Search. They need not visit the official site to find the results.

Google says that it has worked closely with CBSE to ensure that the data is handled securely and used solely for the purpose of showing the results on Google. Moreover, the student’s data is shown on the search result only after he/she entered the details and it is available only for the duration that this feature is live.

Information about other exams

Moreover, Google will also offer important information such as test dates right within Search about other exams too. So, when you search for an exam like GATE, SSC CGL, CAT etc, you’ll be able to easily find information like important dates and links to register, other important links including the official test site on the search result page itself.
