Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 Leaked Images show pop-up selfie camera

Xiaomi might launch its Mi Mix 3 flagship this year and it may take some time before we hear any official announcement regarding the upcoming handset. However, rumors about it have already started surfacing. According to fresh leaks, the Mi Mix 3 will arrive with a pop-up selfie camera and an under-display fingerprint sensor, similar to the Vivo Nex.

The renders of alleged Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 have been spotted by ITHome in China. As per renders, the Mi Mix 3 will be much different from the Mi Mix 2. To recall, the Mi Mix 2 sported its front camera in the bottom bezel and this will not be the same for the Mi Mix 3. The renders show the new Mi Mix series phone will have a Vivo Nex like pop up selfie camera.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 Design

As per leaked images, the Mi Mix 3 offers a higher screen-to-body ratio than Mi Mix 2 and Mi Mix 2S. As per images shared in the report, the Mi MIX 3 will sport a pop-up selfie camera at the top of the handset, for which the company had reportedly filed a patent back in 2015. The camera may also feature a LED flash.

The leaked renders also show the rear panel of the device. It sports is a vertical dual-camera setup at the back, however, we cannot see a fingerprint scanner there. This means Xiaomi may also include an under-display fingerprint scanner on the Mi Mix 3.

If we talk about specs, currently there are no details about the technical specifications of the Mi Mix 3. However, the smartphone is expected to come with premium hardware just like its predecessors. It might pack the Snapdragon 845 processor, and run on Android Oreo.

The Xiaomi MI Mix 2 was launched back in September 2017 so this year’s Mi Mix model is also expected to come around the same timeline.
