Oppo A5 is the latest smartphone launched in China today. The mid-range smartphone has a 19:9 aspect ratio display with a notch, is powered by Snapdragon 450 and sports dual camera setup at the back.
The new Oppo A5 has a dazzling illusion like back texture just like Realme 1. The phone is made with nano-scale microcrystalline technology. The Oppo A5 is currently available for pre-order in China only.
OPPO A5 Specifications
The Oppo A5 sports a 6.2-inch HD+ (1520 x 720 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display with 19:9 aspect ratio and a notch on top. It is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 450 processor with Adreno 506 GPU and it is further coupled with 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB with microSD.
In terms of optics, it has a dual rear camera with a 13MP primary sensor with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, a secondary 2MP sensor with a f/2.4 aperture for portrait shots. There is an 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and AI beautify feature.
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS 5.1. The Dual SIM phone has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, USB OTG as connectivity options. It packs a 4230mAh built-in battery. Dimensions of the phone are 156.2×75.6×8.2mm and it weighs 168g.
Price and availability
The OPPO A5 is priced at 1500 yuan (Rs. 15,530 approx.) in China. It comes in Mirror Blue and Mirror Pink color options and is available for pre-order in China. Oppo A5 will go on sale from July 13. There is no word on its availability in India as of now.
