Oppo has teased the launch of the successor to the Oppo F7 which company launched earlier this year. Oppo decided to skip the Oppo F8 and going to launch the Oppo F9 next month. The Oppo F9 smartphone is also going to be the selfie-centric smartphone with high-end selfie camera. Oppo is going to launch a Pro model of the Oppo F9 which will feature some upgraded specs.
As reported by the website Dealntech, the new Oppo smartphone has received the Bluetooth certification and both the smartphones will feature the similar Bluetooth 4.2 version. There is no other specifications or information revealed about the smartphone right now but the rumor specifications are here.
The Oppo F9 and F9 Pro will feature the same MediaTek Helio P60 SoC which Oppo used in the Oppo F7, Oppo R15 and Realme 1. The smartphones will also support pretty standard cellular connectivity options like WCDMA, FDD-LTE and GSM/GPRS.
A teaser image of the Oppo F9 has been leaked on the internet which shows a dual rear camera setup instead of a single 16MP camera which Oppo put on the Oppo F7. The teaser image also says that Oppo F9 Coming Soon, well there is no confirmation about the launch but the website hints about the August launch.
COming to the design of the Oppo F9 and Oppo F9 Pro, the smartphone will feature a notch display with a 25MP front-facing selfie camera with AI features like Oppo F7. The Oppo F7 has received a price cut of Rs 3000 earlier this month and the smartphone is now available for Rs 19,990.
