Honor Note 10 Launched with 6.95-inch display, CPU and GPU Turbo in China: Price, Specifications

Huawei’s Honor brand just announced the Honor Note 10 smartphone in China. Unlike other flagship devices we have seen this year, the Honor Note 10 comes with a big 6.95-inch FullView AMOLED display without a notch.

Apart from the huge display, other highlights of the Honor Note 10 are Kirin 970 SoC with up to 8GB RAM, CPU & GPU Turbo and Double Turbo mode with a dedicated physical button to launch, dual speakers, and Dolby Atmos etc. Honor has also added a physical heat dissipation coil to cool the device at all times.

Honor Note 10 Specifications

The Honor Note 10 sports a 6.95-inch FHD+ (1080 × 2220 pixels) AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The Honor Note 10 is equipped with dual speakers that come with Dolby Atmos support to offer an immersive experience.

It is powered by an Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 970 10nm processor with Mali-G72 MP12 GPU and i7 co-processor with a dedicated NPU. Notably, the phone comes with CPU and GPU Turbo technology. The Turbo Mode can be enabled via a dedicated button on the device.


Memory wise, it comes packed with 6GB RAM+ 64GB storage, 6GB+ 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM+128GB internal storage. The storage is expandable up to 256GB with microSD.  The smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.2 on top.

In terms of camera, there is a dual rear camera setup with a 16MP primary rear camera with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, CAF, and a secondary 24MP camera with f/1.8 aperture. There is a 13MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.

Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C. The smartphone packs a 5000mAh battery with Super Charge fast charging support.

Price, Availability

The Honor Note 10 is priced at 2799 yuan (Rs. 28,115 approx.) for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version. While the 128GB storage model costs 3199 yuan (Rs. 32,145 approx.). Lastly, the top-end model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage costs 3599 yuan (Rs. 36,165 approx.). It will go on sale in China starting from August 1. The phone comes in Midnight Black and Phantom Blue color options.
