Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 leaked in a video, coming with bezel less design

After Huawei unveiled its Honor Magic 2 at IFA, Xiaomi’s co-founder revealed what they are working on with a very similar design. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is going to ditch the bottom bezel design and will feature a bezel-less display and slide out camera just like in Oppo Find X.

A short video leak shows the smartphone being handled and also revealed that the slide out camera mechanism is not motorized like in the Oppo Find X. The slide out camera mechanism is all manual which needs to be slide out manually. According to some previously released pictures, it seems that the smartphone comes with a sandwich design which could be slid to reveal the front camera and other sensors.

This manual mechanism feels sturdy and will not drain the battery because there is no motor to slide the pop-out camera. The image which has been revealed by the Xiaomi’s co-founder clearly shows that sandwich design. In the picture, we can see that the smartphone will feature a dual camera setup for selfies. And there could be also a selfie flash (seems to be) on the slide-out panel. The video reveals that the smartphone will have a tiny notification LED on the top.

Other than these rumours, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is said to be featuring a bezel-less display and it will support 5G networks. It might be running MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie at the time of the launch which seems to be in October.
