Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco has launched a new Rosso Red Edition of its Poco F1 smartphone in India. The new red color variant of POCO F1 will go on sale in India next week from October 11 during Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale. This new color variant of Poco F1 will join the Graphite Black, Steel Blue and Armored Edition.

Xiaomi launched Poco F1 in India under it’s new ‘Poco’ sub-brand back in August. The first smartphone from the brand comes with features like Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset at an affordable price. So, if you’ve been planning to buy the Poco F1, you now have a new color variant to choose.

Poco F1 Specifications

If we talk about specs, the Poco F1 sports a 6.18-inch Full HD+ (2246 × 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass notch display with 18.7:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Under the hood, it gets Snapdragon 845 processor with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. The smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI 9 on top.

In terms of camera, it sports dual rear camera setup with 12MP (f/1.9 aperture, 1.4μm pixel) Sony IMX363 sensor and a secondary 5MP Samsung sensor. There is a 20MP front camera with ƒ/2.0 aperture. It also has a fingerprint sensor and supports IR face unlock as well.

Connectivity options include Dual 4G+ VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. It also sports 3.5mm audio jack and has support for Dirac HD and Dual Smart PA. It packs a 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging support.

Price, availability

The Poco F1 Rosso Red version is priced the same as regular ones. The 6GB+64GB will cost Rs. 20,999, while 6GB+128GB will cost Rs. 23,999 and lastly the 8GB+256GB is priced at Rs. 28,999. It will go on sale starting from October, 11 via Flipkart and Mi.com.
