Micromax Bharat 4 Diwali Edition, Bharat 5 Infinity Edition Android Go phones launched starting at Rs. 4,249

Micromax has launched two new Android Go phones – Bharat 4 Diwali Edition and Bharat 5 Infinity Edition. Both these come with a 5-inch screen, however, the Bharat 5 Infinity Edition sports an 18:9 aspect ratio display. It also has a fingerprint sensor, face unlock and a huge 5000mAh battery. While the Bharat 4 Diwali Edition doesn’t have any of these features and packs a smaller battery.

Since these are Android Go phones, they come with the Go Editon of Android 8.1 Oreo and 1GB RAM. Micromax had launched three Android Go phones until now with the last one Spark Go just last week. The new phones’ price starts at Rs. 4,249.

Micromax Bharat 5 Infinity Edition Specifications

The Bharat 5 Infinity Edition spots a 5-inch 18:9 aspect ratio display. It gets 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage that is expandable up to 32GB with micro SD card. The phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition.

In terms of camera, the smartphone sports a 5MP rear camera with LED Flash. There is a 5MP front-facing camera with LED flash. It supports face unlock features and also sports a back mounted fingerprint scanner.


The dual-SIM phone has Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and 3.5mm audio jack as connectivity options. There is FM Radio support also. It packs a 5000mAh battery.

Micromax Bharat 4 Diwali Edition Specifications

The Bharat 4 Diwali Edition sports a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display. It also packs 1GB RAM but has 8GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 32GB with microSD. The smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition.

In terms of camera, it has a 5MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 2MP front-facing camera with LED flash. There is no fingerprint scanner or face unlock support. It has 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. Other connectivity options are 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. It has a 2000mAh battery.

Price, availability

The Micromax Bharat 5 Infinity Edition is priced at Rs. 5,899 and it is already available in offline stores. The Bharat 4 Diwali Edition is priced at Rs. 4,249 and it will be available starting from November 3. Reliance Jio customers will get 25GB additional data with these phones.
