Lenovo announced it’s latest mid-range smartphone Lenovo Z5 Pro in China today. The new phone comes with a new slider design that hides the front camera, earpiece and the IR face unlock sensor. Other highlights of the phone are a 6.39-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display, an in-display fingerprint sensor, Snapdragon 710, and 16MP+24MP dual rear cameras. Lenovo Z5 Pro Specifications

The new Lenovo Z5 Pro sports a 6.39-inch Full HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) Super AMOLED 19.5:9 aspect ratio display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It sports 2.07mm ultra narrow bezels and a high 95.06% screen-to-body ratio. The phone has a sliding mechanism to pop out the front camera and the company says it has been tested to last 300,000 times.

Under the hood, the Z5 Pro packs new Snapdragon 710 10nm processor with Adreno 616 GPU. Memory wise, it has 6GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB storage options. The dual SIM phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo with ZUI 10 on top.

In terms of camera, it has a 16MP primary rear camera with Sony IMX519 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and a 24MP secondary Sony IMX576 sensor with f/1.8 aperture. Up front, there is another dual camera setup with a 16MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture and an 8MP secondary IR camera for Face Unlock.

Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC. It doesn’t have 3.5mm headphone jack and comes with USB Type-C audio and also with Dolby Atmos support. It packs a 3,350mAh battery. As mentioned, it also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Price, availability

The Lenovo Z5 Pro is priced at CNY 1998 (Rs. 21,148 approx.) for the 6GB/64GB version and the 6GB/128GB version costs CNY 2298 (Rs. 24,320 approx.). The phone comes in Black color and will go on sale in China from November 11.
