OnePlus 6 OxygenOS 9.0.2 Update
The highlights of the OxygenOS 9.0.2 for the OnePlus 6 are the Nightscape Mode and Studio Lighting features. The Nightscape Mode helps users in clicking low-light pictures with more clarity, less noise, and better color reproduction. The Studio Lighting mode helps in getting better lighting for portrait shots by detecting faces. This feature is similar to the portrait lighting feature on the iPhones. It is to be noted that these new features are already available on OnePlus 6T.
Moreover, OnePlus 6 will also get the new navigation gestures that debuted on the 6T along with the improved UI in Settings, optimized standby power consumption, and the latest November 2018 security patch as well. You can also launch Google Assistant or any other assistant by holding the power button for 0.5 seconds on OnePlus 6 now.
This latest OxygenOS 9.0.2 update by OnePlus for the OnePlus 6 users will be rolled out in phases. In the beginning, it will reach to limited users and a broader rollout will be conducted after making sure that there is no critical bug. Meanwhile, OnePlus 6 users can check this update manually by going to Settings > System updates.
