Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is expected to launch a new smartphone dubbed as Honor 8C in India in the coming week. The key features of the Honor 8C are a 6.26-inch Notch Display, 4,000mAh battery, AI-based cameras and more.

To recall, the Honor 8C was launched in China last month. Now, as per a report by IANS citing industry sources, the smartphone is coming to India soon. The mid-segment device is the first one to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 632 SoC and it comes in two variants. Check out its full features and expected price in India here.

Honor 8C Specifications

The Honor 8C sports a 6.26-inch HD+(1520 × 720 pixels) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it gets a new octa-core Snapdragon 632 14nm processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes in 4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB storage options that are expandable up to 256GB.

In terms of camera, it sports dual rear camera setup with a 13MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture. It sports an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. The cameras also have AI features just like other Honor phones. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Dual SIM phone has several connectivity options such as Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS. It will pack a big 4000mAh battery. The smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.2 on top.

Honor 8C Expected Price in India

The Honor 8C price in China starts at CNY 1,099 (Rs. 11,300 approx.) and goes all the way up to CNY 1,399 (Rs. 14,400 approx.) for the top model. So, we can expect the Honor 8C price in India around the same and it could be below Rs. 15,000 mark. The Honor 8C comes in Midnight Black, Nebula Purple, Aurora Blue, and Platinum Gold colors.
