Samsung has launched it’s latest A-series smartphone Galaxy A50 in India today after unveiling it recently at MWC 2019. The key features of the mid-range phone include Infinity-U Super AMOLED display, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and triple rear cameras. The smartphone is powered by the latest Exynos 9610 10nm processor with 6GB of RAM, runs Android Pie and packs a 4000mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy A50 price in India starts at Rs. 19,990 for the 4GB/64GB version. While the 6GB/128GB version of the smartphone costs Rs. 22,990. The smartphone will be available via both online and offline stores starting from March 2.

Samsung Galaxy A50 Specifications

The Galaxy A50 sports a 6.4-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) Infinity-U Super AMOLED display. It is powered by an Octa-Core Exynos 9610 10nm processor with Mali-G72 GPU. Memory wise, it packs up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage that is expandable up to 512GB.

The triple camera set up at the back includes a 25MP primary camera with f/1.7 aperture, a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and an 8MP 123-degree ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. It sports a 25MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.


Connectivity options are a 3.5mm audio jack, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C port. The device is powered by a 4000mAh battery with fast charging support.

It comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Dimensions of the phone are 158.5 x 74.7 x 7.7mm. The smartphone runs on Android 9.0 Pie with Samsung One UI on top. The Galaxy A50 comes in Black, White, Blue colors.
