Vivo’s iQOO brand has launched its first smartphone in China. The Vivo iQOO is a gaming phone powered by Snapdragon 855 and packs up to 12GB of RAM. Other key features include water drop notch display, in-display fingerprint sensor, Android 9.0 Pie, and triple cameras at the back.
The smartphone features an aluminum alloy frame and the back cover has a colorful LED strip that lights up while gaming and for notifications. It also comes with hidden pressure sensitive buttons for gaming and offers 4D gaming experience. Lets check out specifications and features of Vivo iQOO.
Vivo iQOO Specifications
The Vivo iQOO sports a 6.41-inch Full HD+ ( 1080×2340 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it is powered by Snapdragon 855 7nm with Adreno 640 GPU and also features liquid cooling. It is packed with up to whopping 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB storage.
The triple camera set up at the back has a 12MP primary camera with Sony IMX363 sensor, f/1.79 aperture, a 13MP 120-degree ultra-wide lens with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP camera with f/2.4 aperture. It has a 12MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The smartphone runs on Android 9.0 Pie with Funtouch OS 9 on top. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, and USB Type-C. The device is powered by 4000mAh battery that comes with 44W ultra fast charging support that can charge the phone from 0 to 50% in 15 minutes and 100% in just 45 minutes.
The Vivo iQOO price starts at 2998 yuan (Rs. 31,740 approx.) for the 6GB/128GB version that comes without ultra-fast charging. The price of the gaming phone goes up to 4298 yuan (Rs. 45,500 approx.) for the top-end 12GB/256GB version that comes with carbon fiber textured back. The smartphone will go on sale in China from March 6 and it comes in Electro-Optic Blue and Lava Orange colors.
