Lava Z40 Android Go phone launched at Rs. 3,499; Check features

Lava Z40 Android Go phone was launched in India today. The new Lava phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo Go edition and comes with 1GB RAM. Other key features of the phone include a 4-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, dual 4G VoLTE SIM support, 2MP rear & 2MP front camera, and one and a half days of battery life.

Lava Z40 Specifications

The Lava Z40 sports a 4-inch (400×800 pixels) display with a 16:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM. It packs 8GB internal storage that is expandable up to 64GB.

The handset sports a 2-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash. It also has a 2-megapixel selfie camera with an LED flash. The Lava Z40’s camera also comes with a Bokeh mode.

The smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo Go edition. Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Micro-USB. The phone is powered by a 2,250mAh battery that will offer 1.5 days of backup.

The Lava Z40 is priced at Rs. 3,499 in India. It comes in Black and Gold color options. It will be available via offline stores.
