Realme 3 was launched in India yesterday. The key features of the latest budget phone include dewdrop notch display, MediaTek Helio P70 processor with up to 4GB RAM, Android 9.0 Pie with ColorOS 6.0, and dual rear cameras. The Realme 3 comes with a 3D gradient unibody design at a starting price of Rs. 8,999 in India.
Realme 3 Specifications
If we talk about full specifications, the Realme 3 sports a 6.2-inch HD+ (1520 x 720 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It sports 19:9 aspect ratio and comes with a 2.05mm slim frame to offer 88.30% screen-to-body ratio. The phone is also splash and dust-proof.
Under the hood, it is powered by MediaTek Helio P70 12nm processor with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. It is paired with up to 4GB RAM and up to 64GB storage that is expandable up to 256GB with a dedicated microSD card slot.
The smartphone runs Android 9.0 Pie based on ColorOS 6.0. Connectivity options are Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and
3.5mm audio jack. The device is powered by a 4230mAh battery.
In terms of camera, there is a 13MP primary rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture. It supports Chroma Boost feature that enhances the colors using AI. There is a 13MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and AI beautify feature that scans 296 facial recognition points.
Price, availability
The Realme 3 price in India starts at Rs. 8999 for the 3GB/32GB version and it goes up to Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB/64GB version. The smartphone comes in Dynamic Black, Radiant Blue, and Classic Black colors. The company also launched new cases in Yellow, Gray and Blue colors for Rs. 599.
The Realme 3 will go on sale from March 12 on Flipkart and Realme online store. If we talk about launch offers, the company will offer Rs. 500 instant discount for HDFC Bank customers and benefits worth Rs. 5300 for Jio users.
