Vivo has launched a new smartphone in its ‘Y’ series- Vivo Y91i in India. The budget range smartphone comes with a waterdrop notch display, Helio P22 Octa-Core chipset, Android 8.1 Oreo with Funtouch OS 4.5, and 13-megapixel rear camera. It sports 8-megapixel front camera with face unlock support but lacks a fingerprint sensor.
Vivo Y91i Speicifications
The Vivo Y91i sports a 6.22-inch HD+ (1520×720 pixels) IPS display that the company calls Halo FullView display. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 12nm processor with 2GB RAM. It packs 16GB or 32GB internal storage that is expandable up to 256GB with microSD.
The smartphone runs on Funtouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS. It packs a 4,030mAh battery.
In the camera department, it sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. There is an 8MP front camera with f/1.8 aperture. The front camera also supports the face unlock feature.
Price, availability
The Vivo Y91i price in India starts at Rs. 7,990 for the 16GB storage version. While the 32GB storage version is priced at Rs. 8,490. The smartphone is currently available from offline stores and it will be available online soon.
The smartphone comes in Fusion Black, Sunset Red and Ocean Blue colors.
