Huawei P30 launched with Leica triple-lens camera: Price, specifications

Huawei has announced it’s latest flagship smartphone Huawei P30 at an event in Paris today. The highlights of the smartphone include an OLED curved glass dewdrop notch display, Kirin 980 processor, Android Pie with EMUI 9.1, and a Leica triple-lens camera with 40MP RYYB sensor and a telephoto lens for 3x zoom. It also sports a 32MP front camera and has a gradient glass back. Other key features of the phone are its in-display fingerprint sensor and water and dust resistant body with an IP53 rating.

Huawei P30 Full Specifications

The Huawei P30 sports a 6.1-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) OLED HDR display. It is powered by Huawei’s Kirin 980 flagship processor with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone runs on Android 9.0 Pie with EMUI 9.0 on top.

As the camera is the main highlight of P30, it comes with a 40MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 16MP Ultra Wide Angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, and an 8MP 3x Telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture inside a triple camera set up. The camera also supports OIS and AIS. There is a 32MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.

Connectivity options on the phone include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz) (wave2), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS (L1 + L5 dual band), NFC, and USB Type C. It packs a 3650mAh battery with Huawei SuperCharge fast charging support.


Price, availability

The Huawei P30 price starts at 799 Euros (Rs. 62,240 approx.) for the 6GB RAM model. It comes in Black, Pearl White, Aurora, Amber Sunrise and Breathing Crystal color options and will be available for orders globally starting today. However, it is not expected to come to India as P30 Pro is coming here.
