Realme C2 will reportedly be launched alongside the Realme 3 Pro on April 22. It will be the successor to the Realme C1 (2019) that came in January. The Realme C2 will not come with any major improvement expect for processor and front camera.
Realme hasn’t announced any formal details around the Realme C2. However, a report by 91mobiles states that the Realme C2 will be launched on April 22. The report also says that instead of the Snapdragon 450 SoC on the Realme C1, it will come with Helio P22. Also, it will feature an 8MP selfie camera instead of the 5MP sensor on the C1.

The report has revealed some key specs of the Realme C2 smartphone. Moreover, from the speculations and comparison with Realme C1 2019, we can also expect most of its features and specifications.
Realme C2 Design and Display
If we talk about the design, the Realme C2 will feature a similar form factor as the Realme C1. Being a budget phone, it will come with the plastic back panel. Up front, there could be a waterdrop-style notch this time instead of the wide notch on the Realme C1.
If we talk about the display, it would be a new dewdrop notch display with HD+ resolution but we don’t know the exact screen size at the moment.
Realme C2 Processor
The Realme C2 will be powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 processor. It is a new processor from MediaTek that is based on 12nm FinFET process and it has powerful octa-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPUs clocked at up to 2.0GHz.

The Realme C2 is expected to come with a dual camera set up at theback. It is expected that it will be the same camera set up as the Realme C1 (2019). So, the Realme C2 is also expected to sport a 13-megapixel primary and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. As for the front camera, we already mentioned that it would be an 8MP sensor this time.

The phone might pack a 4,230mAh battery just like its predecessor. If we talk about OS, it might be running the latest Android 9.0 Pie with OPPO’s latest version of Color OS on top.
Realme C2 Expected Price
The Realme C2 price is expected to start at Rs. 8,000. As the Realme C1 comes at Rs. 6,999 for its lone 2GB/16GB model and the Realme C1 (2019) starts at Rs. 7,499 for its 2GB/32GB model and it goes up to Rs. 8,499 for its 3GB RAM variant.
