Xiaomi Redmi Y3 with 32MP selfie camera launched in India: Full specs, price and availability

Xiaomi has finally launched its selfie-focused Redmi Y3 smartphone in India today. The highlight of the phone is its 32MP front camera. Other key features of the smartphone include an HD+ dot notch display, Snapdragon 632 processor, dual rear cameras and a 4,000mAh battery.

The Xiaomi Redmi Y3 price in India starts at Rs. 9,999 for the 3GB/32GB model. While its 4GB/64GB model is priced at Rs. 11,999. The smartphone will go on sale via and starting from April 30.

Redmi Y3 Specifications

The Redmi Y3 sports a 6.26-inch HD+ (1520×720 pixels) Dot Notch display with 19:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The device is powered by Snapdragon 632 octa-core processor paired with up to 4GB RAM. It comes packed with up to 64GB storage.

In terms of camera, it has a 32MP selfie camera with features like EIS, Auto HDR, and AI portrait mode. It has a dual rear camera set up at the back with a 12MP (f/2.2 aperture) primary camera and a 2MP depth-sensing camera.

The smartphone runs MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie. Connectivity features of the phone include Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack and a micro USB port. It has dedicated dual SIM and microSD card slots and offers storage expansion up to 512GB.

If we talk about design, it comes with a new Aura Prism design which offers a gradient pattern. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and an IR sensor on top. The device also has P2i hydrophobic coating for splash resistance. The Redmi Y3 comes in Prime Black, Bold Red, and Elegant Blue color options.
