Samsung Galaxy M40 Launched in India: Specifications, Price, Availability

Samsung Galaxy M40 was launched in India today evening. The company’s latest mid-range smartphone in M series comes with the punch hole Infinity-O type display. It is powered by Snapdragon 675 processor with 6GB RAM. It features triple rear cameras with a 32MP primary rear camera.

Another highlight of the Galaxy M40 phone is screen sound technology that uses the display as an earpiece. Samsung‘s new mid-range phone has a gradient back and lacks the 3.5mm audio jack, however, the company is offering USB Type-C earphones.

Samsung Galaxy M40 Specifications

The Galaxy M40 sports a 6.3-inch Full HD+(2340 x 1080 pixels) Infinity-O type LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by Snapdragon 675 processor with Adreno 612 GPU. It packs 6GB RAM and 128GB storage that is expandable up to 512GB.

The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie with Samsung One UI on top. Connectivity features are hybrid card slot, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C. It packs a 3500mAh battery with 15W fast charging.


It sports a triple camera set up with a 32MP primary camera with f/1.7 aperture, a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture for portrait shots, and an 8MP 123° ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. It has a 16MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The device sports a back-mounted fingerprint sensor. It comes with USB Type-C audio and supports Dolby Atmos. Dimensions of the phone are 155.2 x 73.9 x 7.9mm and its weight is 169g.

Price, Availability

The Samsung Galaxy M40 price in India has beet set at Rs. 19,990. It comes in Midnight Blue and Seawater Blue colors and will be available via Amazon and Samsung online shop starting from June 18.
