ZTE’s Nubia brand has launched its latest gaming phone Red Magic 3 at an event in India today. The power packed phone comes with features like a 6.65-inch FHD+ HDR AMOLED display with 90hz refresh rate and Snapdragon 855 with up to 12GB RAM.
The gaming phone from Nubia also sports a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor and a 16-megapixel front camera. The phone is capable of recording 8k videos. It has dual front stereo speakers and packs a 5,000mAh battery with 27W quick charging.
Gaming Features
The Red Magic 3 comes with a fan inside and the company claims that it is the world’s first smartphone with an active cooling system. It has a metallic body with an RGB LED strip on the back. You can also customize the back RGB with over 16.8 million colors.
It sports an additional button that launches Red Magic Game Space 2.0, a dashboard to quick-launch games as well as change settings. It also has touch-sensitive triggers on one side for better gaming experience without the need for a gamepad.

It is powered by Snapdragon 855 chipset with Adreno 640 GPU. It comes packed with up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and with up to 256GB UFS 2.1 internal storage.
There is a 48MP rear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor, 0.8μm pixel size, f/1.75 aperture, and Dual LED flash. It has 8k video recording support. It has a 16MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2×2 MU-MIMO), Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, 3.5mm jack, and USB Type-C. It gets fueled by a 5000mAh battery with 27W fast charging that offers an hour of gaming with a 10-minute charge.
The device has a fingerprint sensor on the back. Dimensions of the phone are 171.7× 78.5x 9.65mm and its weight is 215g. The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie with Redmagic OS 2.0 on top. It has dual front-facing stereo speakers.

The Nubia Red Magic 3 price in India starts at Rs. 35,999 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage variant. It comes in Black and Flame Red colors. The 12GB RAM with 256GB storage variant comes in Camouflage and is priced at Rs. 46,999. The handset will be available via Flipkart starting from June 27.
