Xiaomi announced a new CC smartphone series in China last week. Now, the company has announced that the first Mi CC series smartphones will be launched on July 2 in China. It is also expected that the series will first have two mid-range devices- Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e.
Alongside the launch date, specifications and price details of the new Xiaomi smartphones have also been leaked online. Earlier, the first live image of the CC9 has also leaked online that reveals an all-screen front panel and a flip camera like ASUS 6Z.
Mi CC9, Mi CC9e India Launch
The official Mi account posted on Weibo that the company will launch the first CC series smartphones on July 2 in Beijing, China. It is then expected to come to India within a month.
Mi CC9 Specs
If rumors are to be believed, there could be two CC phones initially dubbed as CC9 and CC9e. The specifications and images of the Mi CC9e have surfaced online and Mi CC9’s teaser has also revealed ASUS ZenFone 6Z like flip camera module.
Moreover, a leaked image also revealed Mi CC9’s design from the front. As you can see in the image below, the phone will have very slim bezels on all corners and a very thin chin at the bottom. It could have the triple camera set up with a flip mechanism that is also expected to double up as the front camera as well.
Separately, a tipster going by name Mukul Sharma has also revealed the Mi CC9 and CC9e specifications. As per the leak, Xiaomi Mi CC9 will come with a 6.39-inch full-HD+ (1,080 X 2,340 pixels) AMOLED display.
It could be powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 730 chipset. It is said to come with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. As for the cameras, it is said to feature a triple rear camera set up with 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor. It is expected to get a 4,000mAh battery with 27W fast charging support.
Mi CC9e Specs
According to the leak, the Mi CC9e will sport a 5.97-inch AMOLED full-HD+ waterdrop notch display with 1,080 X 2,340 pixels resolution. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 710 SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
In terms of optics, the Mi CC9e is said to feature triple rear cameras with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX582 primary sensor. It is also expected to get a 32MP Samsung GD1 sensor for the front camera. It is expected to get a 3,500mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
If we talk about the price, the leak suggests that Xiaomi Mi CC9e 6GB+64GB variant will cost RMB 1,599 (roughly Rs 16,200). While the Mi CC9 base variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is said to cost RMB 2,599 (around Rs 26,300).
The new Mi CC9 series will be launched on July 2 in China and it is expected to come to India by the end of July.
