Xiaomi has finally announced the price and availability of the Redmi 7A in India. The phone was launched in China last month. The key features of the budget phone include 5.45-inch HD+ 18:9 display, Snapdragon 439, 12-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera.

Like other Xiaomi budget phones, it also has a polycarbonate body with a splash-resistant P2i coating. It also comes with dedicated triple card slots and packs a 4000mAh battery.

Redmi 7A Price in India, Availability

The Redmi 7A price in India starts at Rs. 5,799 for the 2GB RAM with 16GB storage version and the 2GB RAM/32GB storage version costs Rs. 5,999. To be noted, these prices are only till this July, after that these models will cost Rs. 5,999 and Rs. 6,199 respectively.

The Redmi 7A comes in Matte Blue, Matte Gold, and Matte Black colors and it will be available via Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home stores starting from July 11.

The Redmi 7A, unlike other Xiaomi phone, comes with 2 years of warranty.

The Redmi 7A sports a 5.45-inch HD+(1440 x 720 pixels) 18:9 display. Dimensions of the phone are 146.30×70.41×9.55mm and its weight is 150g.

The handset is powered by a Snapdragon 439 octa-core processor with 2GB RAM and  16GB or 32GB storage which is also expandable up to 256GB with microSD. The smartphone runs on Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10.

The rear camera is a 12MP Sony IMX486 sensor with LED flash, 1.25um pixel size, PDAF, and f/2.2 aperture. This will also get the AI scene detection feature soon via OTA update. There is a 5MP selfie camera.

Connectivity features include 3.5mm audio jack, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS. The device packs a 4,000mAh built-in battery with support for 10W charging compared to 5W charging in the Redmi 6A.
