Samsung Galaxy A80 Launched in India: Price, Availability & Full Specs

Samsung officially launched the Galaxy A80 smartphone in India today. The company’s latest phone in the ‘A Series’ comes with several new features such as a new Infinity Super AMOLED display with 20:9 aspect ratio, rotating camera module and the latest Snapdragon 730G processor.

The highlight of Samsung Galaxy A80 is its rotating camera module with triple cameras including a 48-megapixel primary sensor. The cameras can also be used as a front camera, as they automatically pop-up from the back and rotate when you select the selfie mode.

Galaxy A80 Price in India, Availability

The Samsung Galaxy A80 price in India has been set at Rs. 47,990. The handset will go on pre-booking from July 22 to July 31. It will go on sale from August 1 via offline retail stores, Samsung e-Shop & Opera House and leading online channels.

Furthermore, consumers who pre-book will get a one-time screen replacement offer. Also, Citibank credit cardholders who purchase Galaxy A80 will get a 5% cashback.

The Galaxy A80 sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+(2400 x 1080 pixels) New Infinity Super AMOLED display with 20:9 aspect ratio. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor as well.

 

Under the hood, it is powered by a new Snapdragon 730G processor with Adreno 618 GPU. The device packs 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie with Samsung One UI on top.

In terms of camera, it sports a 48MP primary rear cameras with f/2.0 aperture, an 8MP 123° ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 3D depth camera. The three cameras automatically pop-up from the back and rotate when you switch to selfie mode.

Connectivity options are Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. The handset packs a 3,700mAh battery with 25W super-fast charging support.
