Vivo Z5 is the company’s latest mid-range smartphone that was launched at an event in China yesterday. The key features of the smartphone include a Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 712 with up to 8GB RAM, triple rear cameras with a 48-megapixel sensor, 32-megapixel front camera, and a 4500mAh battery with 22.5w fast charging. The device has a gradient back and also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Vivo Z5 Specifications

The new Vivo Z5 sports a 6.38-inch Full HD+(2340 × 1080 pixels) 19.5:9 aspect ratio  Super AMOLED display. The display has a small waterdrop notch and offers 90% screen-to-body ratio. It sports an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The phone is powered by Snapdragon 712 10nm processor with Adreno 616 GPU, just like Vivo Z1 Pro. It packs up to 8GB LPPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB storage. The smartphone runs on Funtouch OS 9.1 based on Android 9 Pie.

The triple rear camera setup sports a 48MP primary camera with f/1.79 aperture, 0.8μm pixel size, an 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP depth-sensing camera for portrait shots. There is a 32MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.

Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C. The device packs a 4500mAh battery with 22.5w fast charging support that can charge it to 50% in 30 minutes.

Dimensions of the phone are 159.53×75.23×8.13mm and its weight is 187g. The handset comes in Black, Blue, and Aurora Blue colors.

Price and Availability

The Vivo Z5 price in China starts at 1598 yuan (Rs. 15,975 approx.) for the 6GB+64GB version and goes up to 2298 yuan (Rs. 22,970 approx.) for the 8GB+128GB version. It will be available from August 6 in China.
