OPPO also launched the OPPO Reno 2Z and Reno 2F smartphones in India today along with the Reno 2. These phones have an AMOLED display, but compared to the shark fin on Reno2, these have a rising camera just like F11 Pro. These also retain the quad-camera set up with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor but instead of the telephoto lens on the Reno2 that offers 5x zoom, they feature a 2-megapixel portrait lens.
The OPPO Reno 2Z packs MediaTek’s latest Helio P90 processor while the Reno 2F comes with the Helio P70. These also feature the same 3D curved glass back design in Luminous Black and Sky White colors with gradient finish.
OPPO Reno 2Z/ Reno 2F Specifications
The OPPO Reno 2Z and 2F both sport a 6.53-inch Full HD+(2340 × 1080 pixels) 19:5:9 aspect ratio AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. These phones also sport an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Reno 2Z is powered by MediaTek Helio P90 12nm processor with IMG PowerVR GM 9446 GPU. While the Reno 2F is powered by MediaTek Helio P70 12nm processor with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. Both the phones pack 8GB LPDDR4X RAM. The Reno 2Z packs 256GB storage and 2F packs 128GB storage.
In terms of camera, the quad-camera setup on these phones have a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.7 aperture, an 8MP 119° Ultra-Wide sensor, a 2MP Mono Lens and a 2MP Portrait Lens. They both have a 16MP f/2.0 aperture pop-up selfie camera.
The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.1 on top. Connectivity features include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C, 3.5 mm audio jack.
The Reno 2Z and 2F are powered by a 4,000mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging. Dimensions of these phones are 162 x 76 x 9mm and their weight is 195g.
The OPPO Reno 2Z is priced at Rs. 29,990. It will be available for pre-order starting from today on Amazon, Flipkart, and offline stores. Reno 2Z will go on sale from September 6. The Reno 2F will be available in November and its pricing will be announced by then.
