After teasers, Motorola has officially launched the Motorola One Macro smartphone in India today. The company’s latest smartphone in the One series is focused on the macro camera and comes with a triple rear camera set up that has a 2-megapixel camera for macro shots. Other key features include a 6.2-inch HD+ 19:9 display, MediaTek Helio P70 12nm processor with 4GB RAM, and a 4000mAh battery. The smartphone runs Android 9 Pie but this is not an Android One phone, unlike previous Motorola phones.
Motorola One Macro Specifications
The new Motorola One Macro sports a 6.2-inch HD+(1520 x 720 pixels) Max Vision display with 82% screen to body ratio. It sports a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor on the Motorola logo and the phone is also splash resistant (IPX2 rating).
The phone has an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P70 12nm processor with a Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. It is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage that is expandable up to 512GB with microSD. The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie.
The triple camera set up includes a 13MP primary camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size, Laser AF, PDAF, a 2MP camera for macro and a 2MP depth camera with f/2.2 aperture. There is an 8MP front camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
Connectivity features include 3.5mm audio jack, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. The device packs a 4,000mAh battery with 10W charging support.
Price & Availability
The Motorola One Macro is priced at Rs. 9,999 for the only 4GB+64GB variant that comes in Space Blue color. The phone will be available via Flipkart starting from October 12.
