Xiaomi announced Mi watch in China. The company’s first smartwatch in its Mi Ecosystem comes with features like a 1.78-inch AMOLED touch screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 with 1GB of RAM, Wear OS with MIUI for Watch and has support for 4G VoLTE calling. The Mi watch promises up to 36 hours of battery life and can track 10 sports activities.
Xiaomi Mi Watch Specifications
The new Xiaomi Mi Watch sports a 1.78-inch (368 x 448 pixels) AMOLED screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection (sapphire crystal protection in premium edition).
The watch is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 platform, paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB eMMC storage. The Mi watch runs on Wear OS-based MIUI for Watch with support for Android and iOS.
The watch comes with sports, activity and sleep tracking features. Sensors on the watch include Accelerometer, Geomagnetic sensor, Heart Rate Sensor, Ambient Light Sensor, and Barometer. The watch has a swim-proof body.
Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE (via eSIM), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS+GLONASS+BEIDOU, and NFC. It also has a speaker and a microphone. It packs a 570mAh battery with up to 36 hours of battery life.
Dimensions of the watch are 44.69 x 36.92x 12.28mm and its weight is 44g (56g of Premium Edition). It comes in Silver and Elegant Black colors with a rubber strap and its premium edition comes in Black color with a Stainless Steel band.
The Xiaomi Mi Watch is priced at 1299 yuan (Rs. 13,000 approx.) and it will be available in China from November 11. While the Premium Edition of Mi Watch costs 1999 yuan (Rs. 20,200 approx.) and it will go on sale in China in December.
