Realme Buds Air Launched in India for Rs. 3,999: Features & Specs

Realme also launched the realme Buds Air, their first true wireless earphones along with the realme X2 in India today. The earphones come with 12mm drivers for dynamic bass and AAC audio codec for an enhanced audio experience. The highlight of the earbuds is its low-latency gaming mode. It also has dual mics for better call quality and noise cancellation. The headset promises up to 17 hours of battery life with the case and has wireless charging support alongside USB Type-C charging.

Realme Buds Air Features, Specs

The Realme Buds Air comes with Bluetooth 5.0 (AAC codec) support to connect to Android and iOS devices and it automatically connects with the phone when you open the case. It has a 12mm driver and LCP advanced multi-layer composite diaphragm.

The headset comes with touch controls for calls, track change, and launch Google Assistant. It has dual microphones for environmental noise cancellation and voice control.

The Buds also has an infrared sensor for intelligent wear detection so it automatically pauses the music when you remove them. It has an R1 chip for low-latency gaming mode which promises a 50% reduction in latency when gaming.


The battery offers 3 hours of standalone playback and 17 hours with the case. It supports USB Type-C charging and the case charges in 2 hours. The case also supports 10W Qi wireless charging and the company will soon launch a 10W wireless charger also.

The earphone comes in Black, White and Yellow colors. Its weight is 4.5g per headset and the case weight is 42.3 g. Case dimensions are 51.3×45.3 mmx25.3 mm.

Price, Availability

The Realme Buds Air is priced at Rs. 3999 and it will be available from Flipkart and realme.com starting from today in limited numbers. The first sale will be on December 23.
