Vivo X30, Vivo X30 Pro 5G Launched with Exynos 980 Chip: Price, Specifications

Vivo X30 and X30 Pro flagship smartphones were launched at an event in China yesterday. These phones pack a 6.44-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a punch-hole that has a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The flagships are powered by Samsung’s Exynos 980 chip with support for liquid cooling and run Android Pie with new FuntouchOS 10.

In terms of camera, these phones are different. The Vivo X30 packs a 64MP main camera lens along with an 8MP wide-angle lens and a 32MP portrait camera. While the X30 Pro packs an additional 13-megapixel periscope lens for 5x lossless zoom. Both the phones pack a 4350mAh battery with 33w fast charging.

The Vivo X30 and X30 Pro sport a 6.44-inch Full HD+(2400 × 1080 pixels) 20:9 Super AMOLED display with 1200 nit brightness. Both the phones sport a glass back and have an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The devices are powered by 2.2GHz Octa-Core Samsung Exynos 980 8nm processor with Adreno 612 GPU. They pack 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.1 storage. The smartphones run on Android 10 with the latest version of Funtouch OS.

The Vivo X30’s triple camera setup has a 64-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 lens, an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, and a 32-megapixel portrait camera. The Vivo X30 Pro 5G’s quad-camera setup has an additional 13-megapixel periscope camera for 5x optical zoom. They both sport a 32MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.

Connectivity features include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac dual-band, Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C, and 3.5 mm audio jack. They pack a 4350mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

Dimensions of the phones are 74.10×158.45×8.80mm and their weight is 196.5g. These come in Black, Blue and Pink colors.

Price, Availability

The Vivo X30 price starts at 3298 yuan (Rs. 33,450 approx.) for the 8GB+128GB version. While the X30 Pro 5G 8GB+128GB version is priced at 3998 yuan (Rs. 40,550 approx.). The phones will be available from December 24 in China.
