Realme 5i Launched in India for Rs. 8,999: Full Specs & Availability

Realme launched the realme 5i smartphone in India today, as promised. The company’s latest smartphone in the Realme 5 series is similar to Realme 5s that was launched a few days back. All the specs are identical to the realme 5s, except the 8MP front camera compared to the 13MP camera in the realme 5s. If we talk about key features it packs a 6.52-inch HD+ Mini-drop notch display, Snapdragon 665 processor with 4GB RAM, quad rear cameras and a huge 5000mAh battery.

If we talk about design, the new realme 5i with a new sunrise design that offers a good grip and doesn’t attract fingerprint instead of crystal design in the Realme 5 series. The phone comes in Aqua Blue and Forest Green colors.

Realme 5i Specifications

The Realme 5i sports a 6.52-inch HD+(1600 x 720 pixels) mini-drop display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ protection and with a 79% screen-to-body ratio.

The phone is powered by Snapdragon 665 11nm processor with Adreno 610 GPU. It is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage that is expandable up to 256GB with microSD. The smartphone runs on ColorOS 6.1 realme edition based on Android 9 Pie.


In the camera department, there is a 12MP primary camera with a Sony IMX386 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, EIS, an 8MP 118° ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP camera for 4cm macro. There is an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.

Connectivity features include triple card slots, 3.5mm audio jack, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, and Micro USB port. The device packs a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support.

Dimensions of the phone are 164.4×75.6×9.3mm and its weight is 198g.

Realme 5i Price & Availability

The Realme 5i is priced at Rs. 8,999 and it will be available on Flipkart and realme.com starting from January 15.

Launch offers include Jio benefits worth Rs. 7,550, an additional cashback on the exchange on Cashify and 10% super cash on MobiKwik.
