HONOR also launched the HONOR Band 5i in India today. It is a cheaper version of the HONOR Band 5 that was launched a few months back. The new Honor Band 5i features a 0.96-inch LCD color display with a Home button, is water-resistant up to 50 meters and offers hassle-free USB charging without a dedicated charging cradle.
If we talk about features, Honor Band 5i comes with continuous heart rate tracking with HONOR’s TruSeen 3.0 technology, automatic activity tracking that lets you track running, cycling, swimming, etc, TruSleep feature and a SpO2 sensor for estimating blood oxygen levels. The band promises one week of battery life.
HONOR Band 5i specifications
The new Honor Band 5i sports a 0.96-inch (160×80 pixels) LCD touch color display with a home button. It comes with customizable clock faces via the HONOR Clock Face Store that has a lot of watch faces. The band is water and dust resistant (50 meters/5 ATM).
Connectivity option is Bluetooth 4.2 LE and it is compatible with Android 4.4 or later and iOS 9.0 or later. The Music Control feature is available for Android 5.0 and above. You can also check calls and messages notifications and also mute incoming calls.
Sensors onboard include Pedometer, PPG heart rate sensor for continuous Heart rate tracking, SpO2 sensor. It comes with 9 Fitness modes and a Sedentary reminder. Its sleep tracker can analyze sleep quality in real-time, identify sleep habits, and provides over 200 personalized suggestions for better sleep.
The band offers up to 7 days of battery life and the battery charges via a built-in USB connector. The fitness band comes in Black, Green and Pink colors.
