Xiaomi’s Redmi brand is expected to launch its Redmi K30 Pro flagship phone in China in March this year. Now ahead of the launch, the phone has been spotted on Geekbench. The listing reveals a few key specs of the upcoming smartphone. As per the specs, the phone will be a premium version of the Redmi K30 that was launched back in December last year.
Redmi K30 Pro Specs
The Geekbench listing of the Redmi K30 Pro shows that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 processor. However, the SoC will be slightly under-clocked at 1.8GHz. Moreover, the phone is also tipped to come integrated with the X55 modem for 5G support.
The phone is listed with an 8GB RAM model on Geekbench but it is likely to be available in more RAM and storage options when it launches. The smartphone runs Android 10 software and it will be having MIUI 11 on top.
The device achieved a single-core score of 903 and a multi-core score of 3,362 on Geekbench. The specs leaked in this listing are in line with what has been leaked earlier.
There is not much information available about the Redmi K30 Pro as of now, but we should know more about it in the coming weeks. It will be a successor to the Redmi K20 Pro and apart from an upgrade in the processor, it will also have more improvements.
The Redmi K30 is offered in 5G and 4G models and is powered by the Snapdragon 765G and Snapdragon 730G processors respectively. The 4G version starts at CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs. 16,000) and the 5G variant is priced at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 20,000).
The Redmi K30 Pro should also be offered in 4G and 5G models and it will be priced higher than the K30. It is also expected that the Redmi K30 series will be launched in India under the POCO brand. We will have to wait for more confirmation on this.
