After several rumors, POCO India has finally confirmed that it will launch its next smartphone in India on February 4. Dubbed as POCO X2, the upcoming smartphone from the brand will come with several new features. The company posted some teasers on its website that confirm features like ‘extreme refresh rate’ display which could be 120Hz, Sony IMX686 64-megapixel sensor, and Snapdragon SoC with liquid cooling. Recently, a phone named POCO X2 also surfaced on Geekbench.

POCO X2 Full Specs
Design
The teaser image on the POCO India website that shows liquid cooling also shows something like a pop-up camera module. It also confirms a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner which can be seen below the camera module. The teaser image of the phone also doesn’t show antenna cutouts so it could feature a plastic body, just like the POCO F1.
120Hz Display
The teaser image also states ‘extreme refresh rate’ and talks about smoothness. So, the POCO X2 will likely sport a 120Hz display just like the Redmi K30. To recall, K30 has a 6.67-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution.
Snapdragon SoC with Liquid Cooling
The teaser confirms Snapdragon SoC with liquid cooling support for the phone. If we talk about Redmi K30, it comes in 4G and 5G variants. The 4G model gets Snapdragon 730G processor, while the 5G variant has the latest Snapdragon 765G SoC. We expect POCO X2 could be the 4G version of Redmi K30, so it will have SD 730G.
64MP Sony IMX686 Sensor
Further, the POCO X2 teaser reveals 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor along with a secondary sensor. So, unlike the quad-camera on Redmi K30, the POCO X2 could come with a dual-camera setup only.
Big Battery & Fast Charging
It also confirms fast charging and USB Type-C port. Redmi K30 gets power from a 4500mAh battery with up to 30W fast charging support, so POCO X2 could also come with a similar battery. The teaser also reveals a bottom-ported loudspeaker and a 3.5mm jack.
Price & Availability
If we talk about pricing, the Redmi K30 price in China starts at 1599 yuan (Rs. 16,100 approx.) for the base 6GB+64GB version. So POCO X2 price in India may also start at Rs. 16,000. The upcoming phone from POCO will be available in India from second week of February via Flipkart.
