Samsung Galaxy A51 Launched in India with 48MP Quad Camera: Price, Specifications

Samsung has announced the Galaxy A51 smartphone in India today. The company’s latest smartphone in the A series comes with features like a 6.5-inch Infinity-O Super AMOLED display, Exynos 9611 processor, 48MP main + 12MP ultra-wide + 5MP macro and 5MP depth cameras, 32MP front camera, and a 4,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging.

The new Samsung phone comes with a multi-colored diamond-cut design in different tones such as Multicolour in Blue, Sparkling finish in White, and Diamond finish in Black.

Galaxy A51 Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy A51 sports a 6.5-inch Full HD+(2340 x 1080 pixels) Infinity-O Super AMOLED screen. The display also features an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The phone is powered by Octa-Core Exynos 9611 10nm processor with Mali-G72 GPU. It is paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. The storage is expandable up to 512GB via a micro SD card. The smartphone runs on Android 10 with Samsung One UI 2.0.

The quad-camera setup has a 48MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture, a 12MP 123-degree ultra-wide-angle camera, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro camera. There is a 32MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture.

Connectivity features include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C. It packs a 4000mAh battery with 15W fast charging that promises 3 hours talk time, 3 hours videos and 10 hours music with 10 minutes of charging.

Dimensions of the phone are 158.5 x 73.6 x 7.9mm and its weight is 172g.

Price, Availability

The Samsung Galaxy A51 is priced at Rs. 23,999 for the 6GB + 128GB version. The phone will go on sale on January 31 and will be available via major offline and online  retailers across the country.
