Nokia 8.3 5G with 120Hz Display, 64MP Quad Camera Launched: Price, Specifications

HMD Global announced Nokia 8.3 5G smartphone at an online event in London yesterday. The company’s first mid-range 5G smartphone with Android One comes with a 6.81-inch FHD+ punch-hole 120Hz display, Snapdragon 765 processor with 5G support, up to 8GB RAM, Android 10 stock version, quad rear cameras with a 64-megapixel main camera, and a 4500mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

Nokia 8.3 Specs

The Nokia 8.3 comes in a new Nordic premium design in Polar Night color that is inspired by the arctic sky. It sports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the power button.

The smartphone sports a 6.81-inch Full HD+(1080 × 2400 pixels) 20:9 LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The device is powered by the Snapdragon 765G 7nm processor with Adreno 620 GPU. It comes with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB storage that is expandable with MicroSD. The smartphone runs on the stock version of Android 10.

The quad-camera setup at the back has a 64MP main camera with Dual LED flash, ZEISS Optics, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. The camera has action camera mode, ZEISS cinematic effects and ZEISS Cinema capture & editor features. There is a 24MP front-facing camera.

Connectivity features on the phone include 5G SA/NSA support, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, and USB Type-C. It comes with a 3.5 mm headphone jack, FM radio receiver, and OZO audio.

The phone gets power from a 4500mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

Dimensions of the phone are 171.90 x 78.56 x 8.99mm and its weight is 220g.

Price, Availability

Nokia 8.3 price starts at 599 Euros (Rs. 47,800 approx.) for the 6GB+64GB version and goes up to 649 Euros (Rs. 51,800 approx.) for the 8GB+128GB version. The phone will be available from Summer in most of the countries including India.
