Realme launched a new smartphone in China today. Dubbed as Realme X50m, the company’s latest mid-range 5G phone comes with features like a 120Hz refresh rate display with dual punch-hole, Snapdragon 765G with support for 5G, quad rear cameras that include a 48MP primary camera, and a 4200mAh battery with 30W Dart Charge fast charging support.

Realme X50m Full Specs

Design & Display

The Realme X50m sports a 3D glass back and comes in Blue and White colors. It features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Dimensions are 163.8×75.8×8.9mm and its weight is 194g.

The phone sports a 6.57-inch Full HD+ (1080 × 2400 pixels) LCD screen with a 90.4% screen-to-body ratio. It comes with a 120Hz refresh rate.


Performance

The device is powered by Snapdragon 765G 7nm SoC with Adreno 620 GPU. It is paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. The smartphone runs on Android 10 with realme UI.

Cameras

The quad-rear camera setup on the phone includes a 48MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture, UIS, an 8MP 119° ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP 4cm macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. It has a 16MP front camera with Sony IMX471 sensor, f/2.0 aperture alongside a 2MP depth sensor.

Connectivity

Connectivity features on the phone include 5G SA/NSA, Dual SIM, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC, and USB Type-C.

Price & Availability in India

The Realme X50m 5G price starts at 1999 yuan (Rs. 21,480 approx.) for the 6GB+128GB version and the 8GB+128GB version costs 2299 yuan (Rs. 24,700 approx.).

The phone will go on sale in China from April 29. It is expected to launch in India in the coming month with a new phone under the Realme X series.
