How to Order from JioMart on WhatsApp
JioMart is Reliance’s new online-to-offline commerce model; wherein, users can search for products and order online from the vast network of Kirana stores in India. The payment needs to be done at the store while picking the order.
As of now, the service is available only in selected areas of Mumbai, including Navi Mumbai, Thane, and Kalyan. Though, it’s expected rollout in other parts of the country in the coming time.
Step-by-step Guide to Buy Kirana from JioMart
1] To start with, save Jiomart’s WhatsApp business number +91 88500 08000 on your smartphone.
2] Now, open WhatsApp, look for the saved number, and send “Hi.” If the contact doesn’t appear in the list, click the menu button, and tap Refresh Contacts. OR click this link to message directly.
3] You’ll soon get an automated reply from JioMart, welcoming you to the JioMart WhatsApp Order Booking Service, alongside an order link that will be valid for 30 minutes.
4] Click the provided link for placing order. Once the site loads, enter your details like name, area, locality, house no., and society name. Check the ‘Receive Updates on WhatsApp’ box and click on Proceed.
5] Add the required products to your cart. Due to coronavirus lockdown, the company is currently offering only essential groceries.
6] Once you’ve finalized the list, click on Place Order at the bottom.
It’ll soon provide you with the order invoice, followed by details of the Kirana store, including phone number and Google Maps location through WhatsApp.

You’ll get an SMS from the Kirana store once your order is ready. You can then visit the store and pick your order after making the payment.
Currently, there’s no minimum order limit, and your products will be ready for pick up within two days from placing the order. Note that orders placed on JioMart WhatsApp cannot be changed, canceled, or modified for now. You’ll be required to contact the Kirana partner for any alterations.
