Honor India launched its latest smartphone Honor 9X Pro in India today. The phone is an upgraded version of Honor 9X that was launched back in February. The duo was introduced in China in June 2019. The key features of Honor 9X Pro are a 6.59-inch FHD+ LCD screen, Kirin 810 7nm SoC, 6GB RAM, liquid cooling, 48MP triple rear cameras, 16MP pop-up front camera, and a 4000mAh battery.
Notably, the smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie with EMIUI 9.1 but it comes with HUAWEI Mobile Services (HMS) instead of Google Play Services and Play Store.
HONOR 9X Pro Full Specs
The new Honor 9X Pro sports a 6.59-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The phone is powered by the latest Kirin 810 7nm processor with ARM Mali-G52 MP6 GPU. It packs 6GB RAM and 256GB storage that is expandable up to 512GB with microSD. The device also comes with liquid cooling that can cool it down by 5°C.
The smartphone runs on Android 9.0 Pie with EMUI 9.1.1. It is also upgradable to Android 10. However, it comes with the HUAWEI AppGallery app store instead of Google Play Store. The apps like HUAWEI Browser, HUAWEI Video, HUAWEI Music, etc. are already there and the company plans to bring a range of other apps like Netflix soon.
The triple camera setup on the phone includes a 48MP primary camera with 0.8μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP depth camera. There is a 16MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture.
Connectivity features on the phone are Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0 LE, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. The phone is powered by a 4000mAh battery with 10W charging support.
Dimensions of the phone are 163.1×77.2×8.8mm and its weight is 206g. The handset comes in Midnight Black and Phantom Purple colors.

The Honor 9X Pro is priced at Rs. 17,999. However, it is currently available at Rs. 14,999 as the company is offering Rs. 3,000 discount during the first sale. It is available for pre-order on Flipkart starting from today till May 19 and will go on sale on May 21.
Launch offers include no-cost EMI options starting at Rs. 2,500 per month and one-time screen replacement within 3-months.
