This feature is available in beta right now but soon it will be available to the regular version.

Steps to Share Profile QR codes on WhatsApp

First, makes sure you have the latest version of the WhatsApp beta app installed on your phone.
Open WhatsApp and go to Settings, tap on the little QR code icon beside your profile.
You will be presented with your profile QR code, you can share this QR code to anyone using the little share button above it.
If you swipe left on this screen, you will launch the camera to scan WhatsApp profile QR codes.
