Steps to Claim Mi Screen Protect & get 1 Year of protection
When you accidentally broke your phone or drop it in water, you should immediately inform the service center about the loss. Follow these steps to claim for your plan:
- Download OneAssist App or call 1800-123-3330.
- Filled in claim form, upload images of damaged handset, your phone invoice copy, your ID, and description of the incident to claim.
- After approval, select your nearest Mi service center and schedule a visit.
- Hand-over your device to the service center and they will validate your device by matching the IMEI to the Mi Protection Plan’s account.
- On successful validation, the repair process of your phone will start.
- Once your device is fixed, you will get a confirmation, and you can pick up your device from the service center.
Note: The doorstep pickup facility is also available in select cities. Also, one needs to be a resident of India and 18 years old or above to claim the insurance.
