Xiaomi is hosting an event on March 4, 2021 to bring its most popular Redmi Note series’ latest smartphones in India. Just like every year, we could see two models- Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro at the event. Now, ahead of launch, the company has teased some of the features of the new smartphones on a microsite. If you too are waiting for Redmi Note 10 series India launch, check out its specs, expected price and everything else here.

Redmi Note 10 Series Specs

Light Build and Sleek Design

According to the teasers from Xiaomi microsite, the new Redmi phones are expected to have light build and sleek design. The new Redmi Note 10 series models are also confirmed to sport Gorilla Glass protection on the front. These phones will also feature IP52 rating for dust and water resistance.

The images showcased on the microsite also reveal that the Redmi Note 10 series smartphones will feature thin bezels and a punch-hole at the top-centre of the display for the selfie camera. We cannot see any visible fingerprint scanner so these phones could get under-display fingerprint sensors.

120Hz LCD Display

If we talk about the Redmi Note 10 specs, it is said to come with a 120Hz display. Recently, Redmi India Tweeted a poll whether the users would like an LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate or an AMOLED display. So, at a times when higher refresh rates are becoming more popular in the mid-range segment, these are expected to feature an LCD display.

Snapdragon Chipsets & 5G Support

Xiaomi teaser also confirms that the Note 10 series will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets that are built for gaming. Some previous leaks suggest that the Redmi Note 10 could get the Snapdragon 732G SoC and Note 10 Pro could also get the same.

The Note 10 is tipped to come in two models: 4GB and 6GB RAM with two storage variants. The Note 10 Pro may also come in 8GB model. It is also expected to come with 5G connectivity. However, it could be a Redmi Note 10 Pro Max variant.

Software and UI (Android 11)

The phones are expected to run on the latest Android 11 with Xiaomi’s MIUI 12 on top.

108MP Camera, Maybe?

Earlier this year, General Manager of Redmi Lu Weibing announced that this year some Redmi smartphones will feature a primary camera higher than 100MP. So Redmi Note 10 Pro variant could sport up the 100MP camera, while the regular variant could get the 64MP quad-cameras at the back.

Big Battery, Fast Charging

The Redmi Note 10 series will pack 5,050mAh battery with fast-charging support. It may come with 33W fast charger in the box.

Redmi Note 10 Price in India

Just like older Redmi Note series phones, Redmi Note 10 series will also likely be priced under Rs 20,000. Although if there will be a 5G variant, that could bear a higher price tag. The Redmi Note 10 series will be exclusive to Amazon India, and may go on sale in the second week of March.
