Celkon has launched a phone in competition to Micromax A116 HD and it is expected to do well in the market because of its comparable hardware specifications with its contender. They have named this phone as Celkon A119 Signature HD and you may recall this brand by its brand ambassador as Virat Kohli. Lets take a look at the hardware specs and then compare it with Micromax A116 HD.
Celkon A119 Specifications and Key Features
Micromax A116 HD has more power than Celkon A119 Signature HD as it houses 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor whereas A119 houses 1 GHz Dual Core processor, this is the only spec in this Celkon phone lags behind and both of these are supported by 1GB RAM. Both of them have the same screen size that is 5 inches and the same resolution of (1280 x 720). The camera specs of Celkon A119 is better as it has 12MP camera on the back with 720p HD video recording and Flash support and 3MP camera on its front as compared to the 8.0 MP camera of Micromax A116 HD on its back and 2MP camera on its front.
The internal storage capacity of Celkon A119 phone is 4GB and it can be extended up to 32GB which is similar to that Micromax A116 HD. The battery strength of the Celkon A119 (2100mAh) is slightly better but I don’t think it will help in providing more backup than Micromax A116 which has 2000 mAh, reason being the availability of better processor on Micromax A116HD which consumes lesser battery as compared to the processor using in Celkon A119. Both of these phone will use Jellybean as their operating System.

It is available at 13,499 INR which is around 1000 INR cheaper than Micromax A116 HD and there is no information about its availability. Moreover it will be a good competitor of Micromax as described above but Umi X2 smartphone also beats out the hardware spec of this phone at the comparable price
