Micromax Evok Note Unboxing, Quick Review, Camera Overview and Benchmarks

Micromax has introduced its new Evok series of smartphones which are launched in collaboration with Flipkart. Evok Note is one of the two devices launched and comes with a very good specification and features. It’s comes in a metal unibody design with 2.5D curved glass which gives it a premium feel and look.

The Evok Note features a 5.5 inch full HD display and is powered by 4,000 mAh battery. It comes with a 1.3 GHz Octa Core processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB Storage. Moreover it comes with a rear mounted fingerprint scanner and VoLTE support. The smartphone is exclusively sold on Flipkart and is offered only in Champagne color option.

Build Quality

The build quality of the smartphone is good. It features a metal unibody design. The metal body makes it look and feel premium to hold. The design is simple yet looks good. Moreover the 2.5D curved glass also makes the front look good. The fingerprint sits on the front and the back is clean with just camera and a dual LED flash.


Physical Overview

Micromax Evok Note is a decently designed phone with 5.5 inch ull HD Display with 2.5D curved glass. It comes with a 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution.

Just above the display on the front upper side is the earphone. To the left of it is the 5MP front shooter camera.

Bottom has got the on-screen navigation button and a fingerprint sensor on the chin.

On the back side, Micromax Evok Note has got a 13MP camera followed by a dual-tone LED flash while the top has got a 3.5mm headphone jack.

On the right, you will find Volume up-down button and a power button below that.

Left part gives access to the hybrid SIM card tray.

Bottom most part has got a micro-USB port, speaker grill, and the primary mic.

Micromax Evok Note comes with an Octa core Mediatek chipset coupled with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. It is backed by a big 4,000 mAh battery with a quick charge and comes with a front mounted fingerprint sensor.

Conclusion

Micromax Evok Note is a good package overall with the hardware it packs inside. It has got a good build, a bigger battery, a decent sets of cameras, a fingerprint sensor, VoLTE support and a nice display as well. Although there’s nothing impressive in this device but there is nothing to complain either. Overall it’s a decent device with good battery and with some good software features.
