In the build quality department the handset is made up of plastic back cover and glass on the front which does not have a great protection but scratch resistant to some extent and the quality of material used is quite good the handset feels solid in hands and none of the assembled parts make any noise. The design is nice, it has nice curves on the edges which are more rounded make the device easy to hold in hands and gives a nice grip. The form factor of the phone is pretty good it does not feel big considering a 5 inch display and device does not feel very heavy but its little bit heavier compared to other phones like this.

It has 5 Inch IPS LCD display with 720p resolution which is quite good, the text does not feel soft and HD pictures looks good and the display is vibrant, colors looks quite sharp and nice on the display. It has 4 GB internal around 1.84 Gb available and supports installing and moving apps on SD card. The battery lasted for more than 1 day, the exact backup time was around 21 hours during our review which continued for 2 weeks.

Software

The UI is stock android there are no custom widgets or apps customized to give Zen branding but you have a custom camera app which allows tap to focus in video and photo mode. Zen Ultraphone 701 HD Full In Depth Review [Video]

Conclusion and Price

Zen Ultraphone 701 HD is a pretty decent option when it comes to hardware and software and its very close competitor to MMX A116 Canvas HD and it also comes at a lower price point as well, moreover it offers a lot more as compared to any other phone in terms of the accessories in the form of flip cover, extra back cover and screen protectors. It comes for Rs. 11,999 INR which is quite worth the price you should pay for this or similar hardware phone.
