Acer has today launched its 7 inch tablet, Iconia A1-713, in India. The tablet supports 3G connectivity and calling via SIM card slot apart from other basic hardware meant for enjoying multimedia experience.
The display is 7 inches in size and bears standard budget tablet 1024 x 600 pixel resolution. Software is also slightly dated with Android 4.2 jelly bean, although it is upgradeable. Inside the 8.9 mm thick body, the tablet houses a 3400 mAh battery which sounds average.
The chipset includes 1.3 GHz MT8382 quad core CPU backed by 1 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. You can further expand the storage by another 32 GB using MicroSD support.
Imaging hardware loses its precedence in this form factor and we don’t see Acer putting any effort with a 2 MP rear shooter and a 1.3 MP front camera. Since you could use it for calling, you could definitely use it for photography. Other features include 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
