India’s top telecom operator, Bharti Airtel has revised its prepaid plans. Airtel is now offering 4GB data per day with its new recharge pack of Rs. 999. Along with this, there are other similar plans have also been introduced. However, these new plans are valid only for select customers for now.
Airtel is now offering this new Rs. 999 plan under which the users get 4GB data per day and unlimited voice calls for 28 days. In contrast, the newcomer Reliance Jio also has a Rs. 999 plan that gives 90GB data for 90 days along with unlimited voice calls.
Along with the Rs. 999 plan, the company is also offering some other newer plans such as Rs. 399, Rs. 499, Rs. 549 and Rs. 799. The Rs. 399 plan gives 1GB data per day for 4G handset users, and just 1.5GB data for non-4G handset users. This plan is valid for 84 days for select users, while normally it gives 28 days validity.
Further, the Rs. 499 plan gives 1.5GB data per day, while the Rs. 549 plan offers 2GB data per day. Next, Rs. 799 plan gives 3GB data per day. All these plans are valid for 28 days. Also, these two plans offer unlimited voice calls.
These new plans from Airtel have been introduced to take on Reliance Jio which also has similar Rs. 309, Rs. 399, and Rs. 509 plans. Jio’s Rs. 309 plan offers 56GB data for 56 days, while the Rs. 399 plan gives 84GB data for 84 days. Jio’s Rs. 509 plan gives 112GB of data for 56 days i.e. 2GB data per day.
Bonus 30GB offer for New Postpaid users
Further, Airtel has also announced a new bonus offer for its postpaid customers as well. Dubbed as ‘Bonus 30GB’ offer is for the new postpaid customers. The new offer provides new postpaid users with 30GB of free data over a span of three months i.e. 10GB free data per month. The company says that with the new offer, customers will also get the free SIM delivered to their doorstep.
The new Airtel Bonus 30GB offer is available with all of the company’s Unlimited series postpaid plans. The Postpaid users can avail Bonus 30GB offer with Rs. 499, Rs. 649, Rs. 799, and Rs. 1,199 plans. To claim ‘Bonus 30GB’ free data, users need to download the MyAirtel app, which displays a banner to claim free data.
Earlier this month Airtel has also announced that it is offering its postpaid users up to 60GB of free data, on installing the company’s Airtel TV app. Under this offer, users will get 10GB of free data per month for six months, making it a total 60GB of free data to users who install the app.
