Asus has today launched Zenfone C in India for 5,999 INR. The handset was earlier launched in Malaysia and will act as a replacement for Asus Zenfone 4 A450 in India.
The handset is fitted with a 4.5 Inch display with 854 x 480 pixel FWVGA resolution and will be powered by Intel Atom Z2520 dual core processor with Hyper Threading enabled. The processor will be assisted by 1 GB RAM and 8 GB expandable internal memory, which can be further expanded by another 64 GB using SD card.
On the rear surface, there is a 5 MP PixelMaster rear autofocus camera with flash and f/2.0 lens coupled with a VGA front-facing camera with f/2.8 lens for selfies. The 2100 mAh battery is an improvement when compared to Zenfone 4.
Other features include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, Glonass, dual SIM and Micro-USB. Out of the box, this new budget Zenfone will be running Android 4.4 KitKat. The handset features the same Zenfone series design and will be available in multiple colors.

Asus Zenfone C will be available for 5,999 INR starting from today on Flipkart. It will also be available on Zenfone brick and mortar stores starting from 18th February.
